About the Author:

Dr. Cody James Watson is the Pastor of Lake Mystic Baptist Church. He received his undergraduate degree from the Baptist University of Florida and his Masters of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry Degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served as a youth pastor, associate pastor, and pastor, bringing over a decade of ministry experience. He has a passion for family discipleship and a deep love for his community.

Cody has been married to his wife, Erin, for the last ten years. They have three young sons together: Judah, Knox, and Ransom. Judah is 5 years old and has severe autism. Knox is 3 years old and has Williams Syndrome and severe heart issues. Ransom is a rambunctious 1-year-old. Cody and Erin have a heart to love their community and to minister to other parents of special needs children. Cody enjoys reading and writing in his spare time as well as cheering on the Atlanta Braves and the Florida Gators.
